Dietary factors in maternal anemia and pregnancy outcomes in rural Ethiopia
Taddese Alemu is currently is an Assistant Professor of Human Nutrition and Food sciences at Dilla University of Ethiopia and a postdoctoral research fellow under the Innovative Methods and Metrics for Agriculture and Nutrition Actions (IMMANA) Fellowship program. He earned his bachelor degree in public health and master degree in Public Health specialty in Reproductive Health from Alemaya and Jimma Universities in Ethiopia, respectively. His PhD is from Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia studying Human Nutrition and Food sciences. He has functioned at various posts and positions in Ethiopia; as a clinician, health services manager, lecturer and consultant. Throughout his experience, he has an immense interest of studying maternal and child health programs, particularly effect of maternal and child nutrition on early and later stages of life.
