Meet the latest IMMANA Fellow: Semira Beyan

Semira M. Beyan is the second of this new round of IMMANA Fellows to begin her research which is focused on the linkages between soil nutrients, dietary intake, and nutritional status of children and women in southern Ethiopia. Learn more in her bio about how her previous work identifying the genetic diversity of soil microsymbionts in soybean crops could support the success of smallholder farmers in Ethiopia. Her IMMANA research will build on these ideas of understanding linkages between soil micronutrients nutritional micronutrients, and we are excited to track the outcomes as her work gets underway soon.
